Senior Accounting Manager, Global Consolidations

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States

Salary: $139,000–$215,000 per year, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation

Provides technology-enabled grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, tickets, and memorabilia.

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations for multiple domestic and international entities.
• Prepare and review intercompany eliminations, minority interest, equity pickup, foreign currency translation, and remeasurement entries.
• Maintain and enhance the ERP consolidation system, including chart of accounts mapping, entity structures, and ownership changes.
• Prepare and support consolidated financial statements, footnotes, management reporting, technical accounting research, and accounting policies.
• Own key monthly close activities, reconciliations, flux analysis, internal controls, and external audit coordination.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, HR, and business-unit finance teams on international payroll, M&A integration, purchase accounting, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 810, ASC 830, and intercompany accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Workday and consolidation tools such as OneStream, Hyperion/HFM, Adaptive, or Cognos.
• Must be able to work in the United States; e-Verify is used to validate legal work authorization. Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced close environment is required.

Nice to have

• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience, particularly with a Big Four or national firm.
• SEC reporting and XBRL experience.
• Purchase accounting, M&A integration, or global matrixed-organization experience.
