Manager, Intercompany Accounting

Location: Based at the College Park, Maryland office with the option to work remotely a few days per week. Travel up to 10%, domestic or international. U.S. work authorization is required due to export control and government contract restrictions.

Salary: $112,800–$169,200 USD base compensation, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the monthly intercompany close across domestic and international legal entities, including journal entries, cross-charges, cost allocations, reconciliations, settlements, and netting.
• Execute transfer pricing entries for cost-plus services, markups, and IP or royalty charges in partnership with Tax and external advisors.
• Prepare consolidation eliminations and account for foreign currency remeasurement, translation, and intercompany FX gains and losses under ASC 830.
• Support legal entity reporting, statutory requirements, audits, and the integration of newly acquired or formed entities.
• Design scalable intercompany processes, controls, calendars, and policies while reducing manual effort and shortening the close cycle.
• Drive OneStream automation, train controllers and business partners, and resolve recurring discrepancies across AP, AR, Payroll, and Procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in intercompany accounting across multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Hands-on experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidated monthly close processes.
• Working knowledge of transfer pricing and the ability to translate policies into accounting entries.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 810 and ASC 830, plus experience with SOX or SOX-readiness controls.
• Advanced Excel skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Big Four or national accounting firm experience.
• Experience with OneStream, NetSuite OneWorld, multi-book accounting, and automated intercompany management.
• Public company experience, SEC reporting, SOX 404 compliance, and international statutory reporting.
• Experience integrating acquired entities and automating manual accounting processes.
