TL;DR
Sales Training Manager (Healthcare): Developing and delivering sales training, onboarding, certification, product-launch, and clinical learning programs for infusion therapies and platforms with an accent on translating complex clinical and commercial content into actionable field learning. Focus on facilitating in-person and virtual training, measuring learner proficiency, managing remediation, and leading training programs with up to 50% travel.

Location: United States of America, remote; US-based candidates only. Deerfield, Illinois is preferred with three days in the office. Up to 50% travel is required, including occasional weekends.

Salary: $112,000–$154,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

  • Partner with sales leadership, marketing, subject matter experts, and the enterprise enablement team to identify capability needs and align training priorities.
  • Design and maintain curricula covering infusion therapies, products, customer call points, selling skills, sales effectiveness, and business acumen.
  • Develop onboarding, product-launch, upskilling, certification, remediation, and ongoing development programs across instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and digital formats.
  • Facilitate training, workshops, assessments, and onboarding for sales and customer-facing employees.
  • Measure learner proficiency and training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Lead training programs, national training meetings, product-launch initiatives, and related projects from planning through evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, sales training, clinical education, instructional design, or a related commercial-learning discipline.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical, product, or commercial information into clear, actionable learning and sales messaging.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, project-management, planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms and ability to learn digital-learning tools.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Field sales, sales training, or clinical experience.
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, hospital capital equipment, healthcare IT, or complex clinical solutions.
  • Experience with product launches, certification programs, new-hire onboarding, digital authoring, or learning-management tools.
