Location: Remote within the United States, with ideal candidates living on the East Coast; RTP, NC listed as the job location. Travel up to 40% required.

Salary: $182,500–$240,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and evaluate onboarding, technical training, and continuing professional development programs for Medical Affairs, MSL, field medical, and related teams.
  • Develop tailored onboarding plans, coordinate mentoring, facilitate training meetings, and maintain current learning materials.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and Global Medical Affairs to create disease- and product-related training programs.
  • Oversee field resources such as slides, FAQs, talking points, and other materials, including their delivery through Veeva Portal, Mobile Locker, and X-Fly Medical Insights.
  • Assess learning needs, identify knowledge gaps, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements based on competencies and changing business priorities.
  • Coordinate trainers, external vendors, KOLs, budgets, pre-conference data reviews, and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences, with 12+ years of relevant Medical Affairs or clinical practice experience; or a master’s degree, NP, or PA with 10+ years; or PharmD/PhD with 7+ years.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of industry Medical Affairs experience in HCP-facing roles or 3+ years of clinical or Medical Affairs experience in PAH/ILD therapeutic areas.
  • Working knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements governing industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong strategic planning, communication, presentation, organization, problem-solving, and project coordination skills in a complex matrix environment.
  • Proactive, innovative, flexible, and adaptable approach with the ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel up to 40%.
