Senior Project Manager (Packaging)

Location: Hybrid position based in Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Salary: $64,000–$74,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between assigned clients, agency teams, and vendors.
• Develop creative and project briefs, initiate assignments, and establish timelines from kickoff through final delivery.
• Coordinate designers, production artists, copywriters, regulatory, quality, account, and scheduling teams.
• Track project progress, conduct status meetings, communicate changes, and escalate risks or resourcing needs.
• Manage artwork reviews, client and vendor approvals, contract proofs, final file releases, and project deliverables.
• Prepare chargeback reports, create out-of-pocket cost estimates, and support workflow and SOP improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant production or project management experience in a design, packaging, or engineering agency environment.
• Experience managing workflows, timelines, deliverables, and multiple concurrent projects across internal and client-facing teams.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft products, and project management or routing programs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPG, retail, packaging design, and manufacturing.
• Master’s degree.
