Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Location: hirify.global Supercenter 01293, 3209 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, Georgia, United States; onsite facility services role.

Hourly wage: $33.00–$63.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, cleaning, and repairs for facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Use multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment maintenance.
• Operate, inspect, and safely maintain heavy machinery, vehicles, forklifts, and powered equipment.
• Lead assigned work sites, determine project scopes, oversee less-experienced associates, and provide hands-on technician training.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, contractors, parts inventory, purchase records, warranties, invoices, and budget information.
• Ensure completed work meets quality, safety, OSHA, EPA, and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area; or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions, serious traffic violations, or preventable commercial-vehicle accidents.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years while operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, hoists, testing equipment, repair manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work onsite at the Augusta, Georgia facility and comply with safety, equipment certification, vehicle, and company policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
