Senior Customer Service Representative (Packaging)

Salary: $54,000–$67,500 annually

What you will do

• Receive, process, track, and schedule customer orders through completion.
• Coordinate with sales, design, production, shipping, and other internal departments to ensure complete orders, accurate invoicing, and on-time delivery.
• Respond to customer requests involving product specifications, availability, pricing, freight, quotations, estimates, samples, and delivery dates.
• Manage complex customer accounts, order changes, complaints, billing adjustments, and escalations.
• Reconcile on-hand inventory with customer orders, forecasts, and just-in-time schedules, including month-end physical inventory.
• Maintain customer files, support other representatives, and provide backup for the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of customer service experience handling customer orders in an order-entry system and building strong business relationships.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, active listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple details and deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or college accounting coursework.
• At least two years of experience in manufacturing, containerboard, or corrugated packaging.
• Experience with an automated order-entry system and team-based work.
