Senior Manager, People

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Translate Finance People priorities into integrated operating plans linked to business outcomes.
• Lead workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, performance calibration, and pay planning.
• Generate workforce and talent insights to guide strategy, priorities, and decisions.
• Coordinate executive talent, leadership, and workforce activities across timelines, data, communications, and dependencies.
• Connect enterprise People programs with business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establish operating rhythms, tools, and mechanisms that improve coordination and execution.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex talent, People, HR, or business initiatives with strong program management and disciplined execution.
• Strong business and talent acumen, including the ability to turn workforce data and business priorities into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate emerging needs, and create structure across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence business leaders, People teams, and Centers of Excellence without direct authority.
• Fluency with technology, AI, automation, and data for process improvement and scalable solution development.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Project management certification or experience.
• Supervisory experience.
