What you will do

• Use Surface Plasmon Resonance instruments to perform high-throughput binding affinity characterization of biologics from generative biology.
• Determine cross-species selectivity and study mechanisms of action related to binding interactions.
• Generate, analyze, and clearly communicate scientific data in written and oral formats.
• Collaborate with scientists across functions and interface with Computational Sciences.
• Support the development of ML/AI models that improve molecular attributes such as binding activity.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral experience where applicable; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3 years of scientific experience or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of scientific experience.
• Knowledge of protein chemistry, cell biology, and biophysics.
• Experience with binding analysis using Surface Plasmon Resonance.
• Strong laboratory, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and data-analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with scientific and computational teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with lab automation using Bravo, Hamilton, biochemical assays, or cellular assays.
• Experience generating and characterizing membrane proteins.
• Experience connecting experimentation with computational modeling and ML activities.
