Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Direct CMO (Biotech)

Location: Troy, New York, United States. On-site work is required.

What you will do

• Define and implement CMO manufacturing category strategy across the external manufacturing network.
• Align Drug Product manufacturing priorities with IOPS stakeholders, Procurement category leads, and management.
• Negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive cost savings, cash-flow improvements, and operational efficiency through category management.
• Ensure category activities comply with GxP and other applicable regulations.
• Establish Supplier Relationship Management programs and governance models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in monoclonal antibody or large-molecule manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers and drive business results.
• Ability to work on-site in Troy, New York.

Nice to have

• Experience managing category stage-gate processes, including strategy development and execution.
• In-depth knowledge of Drug Product manufacturing processes.
• Experience using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools to evaluate global supply markets.
