Location: Field-based role centered in Seattle, Washington, covering Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and part of Wyoming. Travel of up to 70% is required.

Salary: USD 168,400–252,600 per year

What you will do

  • Provide reimbursement education and access support to oncology healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and site-of-care staff.
  • Resolve coverage, reimbursement, prior authorization, utilization management, appeals, benefits investigation, financial assistance, and specialty pharmacy issues.
  • Build relationships with oncology practices, revenue cycle managers, billing coordinators, payers, specialty pharmacies, hospital systems, and third-party organizations.
  • Advise internal field teams and leadership on payer landscapes, formulary status, reimbursement policies, and patient-access strategies.
  • Communicate with government, state, and commercial payers regarding existing and future oncology products.
  • Manage field-activity expenses and the assigned P&L budget while following company policies and HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 7 or more years of related professional experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Knowledge of specialty payer landscapes, formulary decisions, reimbursement policies, utilization management, prior authorization, appeals, Medicare, Medicaid, GPOs, and specialty pharmacy systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% and attend meetings and sales events.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Must be able to work in the assigned U.S. field territory.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or another advanced degree.
  • Experience in oncology sales, sales management, training, or marketing.
  • Specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, HUB, or Market Access Development Program experience.
