Senior Civil Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

Location: Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Hybrid work model with an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an hirify.global office location.

What you will do

• Deliver civil and site infrastructure assignments within agreed budgets and programmes.
• Gather, interpret and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Design stormwater systems, including pit and pipe networks, major and minor systems, detention and drainage strategies.
• Develop bulk earthworks designs, grading, level coordination and cut-and-fill balance considerations.
• Design basic water and wastewater infrastructure, coordinate services and support constructability.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders, verify design quality and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of postgraduate experience in civil or site infrastructure design.
• Working knowledge of Austroads and the ability to apply local council and authority requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in stormwater pit and pipe design and bulk earthworks.
• Experience with water, wastewater and services coordination is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, structured working practices and commitment to compliant deliverables.
• Willingness to mentor and support junior staff.

Nice to have

• Exposure to WSUD design or integration.
• Department of Defence project experience, including Defence environments, approvals, standards and stakeholder expectations.
