Associate Program Manager (Data Center Construction)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. Candidates located in or near San Francisco are preferred and should be able to work from the office 2–3 days per week; remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Minimal travel is expected.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Support pre-lease technical due diligence for a confidential hyperscale data center client across a portfolio of live deals.
• Own action-item, risk, deliverable, and meeting tracking across concurrent sites, including agendas, minutes, follow-up, and escalation.
• Participate in deal calls as a backstop by maintaining awareness of open issues, risks, owners, and next steps.
• Draft client reports and status updates, and maintain clear shared trackers, communication channels, checklists, and templates.
• Progressively take ownership of full workstreams or lower-complexity sites end to end.
• Follow applicable SOX controls and site HSSE policies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience; a degree is not required.
• Prior program or project coordination experience.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and reprioritize in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and developer counterparties.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, data center development, including power, cooling, and long-lead equipment.
• Technological proficiency with MS Suite and Google Workspace, plus the ability to understand and follow site HSSE policies.

Nice to have

• Data center development, mission-critical facilities, real estate, construction, or complex technical and hyperscale building experience.
• Experience building and maintaining tracking tools.
