Associate, Software Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Develop and test embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on hardware/software interfaces and system performance requirements.
• Develop software test procedures, programs, technical documentation, and operating data models.
• Conduct experimental tests, evaluate results, participate in peer reviews, and track defects.

Requirements

• Education: pursuing a master's degree or completed one within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information security, or a related field.
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis principles to software development.
• Experience or academic exposure to embedded software, real-time control, hardware/software interfaces, and software testing.
• Ability to work with programming languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, Integrity, and Windows CE.
