Software Engineer Intern (C++)

Location: San Jose, United States; onsite

Salary: $35–$45 per hour

What you will do

• Develop, code, debug, and validate software tools for storage testing.
• Design and implement storage test tools, libraries, and user-facing APIs based on industry specifications and internal firmware algorithms.
• Automate build and deployment workflows, test integration, and performance indicator generation.
• Test the functionality, performance, and scalability of developed tools.
• Create and maintain user manuals, design documents, and release notes.
• Use AI-assisted software development and documentation practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, source control, databases, operating systems, networking basics, testing, and debugging.
• Hands-on software debugging experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills for collaboration and technical documentation.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, agile, and quick to learn.
