(USA) Manager, Automation Engineering

Location: Lancaster, Texas, United States; on-site role supporting live operational sites and installations

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation

What you will do

• Lead the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems supporting grocery and fresh-product supply chain operations.
• Analyze automation performance and operational data to identify actionable improvement opportunities.
• Design and assess process flows and develop scalable, programmatic automation improvements for live sites.
• Lead cross-functional projects, including on-site installations, vendor coordination, site readiness, commissioning, testing, and operational handoff.
• Build business cases by evaluating costs, benefits, engineering requirements, and implementation risks.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, status reporting, and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or a related area; or 4 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience leading large-scale automation, engineering, or capital projects in complex, live operational environments.
• Experience managing projects end to end, including scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, installation, commissioning, and handoff.
• Experience partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors and contractors, including technical alignment, performance, issue resolution, and delivery accountability.
• Strong communication, influence, data interpretation, and decision-making skills.
