Analyst II, Quality Engineer - Supply Chain

Location: Brookhaven, Mississippi, United States; onsite at a distribution center

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead process-improvement methods including 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time-and-motion studies to eliminate quality losses and deviations.
• Analyze KPIs, create standard work, and reduce process variation within the assigned functional area.
• Manage projects addressing major quality losses and lead quality-related savings initiatives.
• Compile deviations from One Best Way playbooks and contribute ideas to divisional improvement teams.
• Develop quality-loss profiles, performance metrics, and gap analyses to support Walmart Performance System integration.
• Support department managers and develop associates through training, mentoring, assignments, and recognition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.
• Ability to apply quality and process-improvement methods, analyze data, and implement action plans.
• Ability to work onsite at the Brookhaven, Mississippi distribution-center location.
• Ability to support stakeholder relationships, compliance, continuous learning, and team development.

Nice to have

• Co-op or internship experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution.
• Applied knowledge of Quality Management System elements, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, and quality KPIs.
