(USA) Area Manager - Maintenance (Grocery)

Location: Los Lunas, New Mexico, United States; onsite at the Walmart facility.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, plus potential annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Manage daily maintenance department operations for warehouse equipment and building systems.
• Plan staffing, schedules, assignments, and workloads to achieve facility production, quality, and safety goals.
• Monitor productivity, expenses, capital expenditures, asset utilization, and operational reports.
• Maintain material handling equipment, pneumatic and electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, hazardous waste, NFPA, stormwater, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate associates and leaders while supporting hiring and promotion activities.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or technical school certification in an industrial-related field and one year of related maintenance supervisory experience, or an equivalent qualification listed in the posting.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in business, industrial, logistics, or a related field may qualify.
• Relevant experience may include Walmart Logistics maintenance, industrial maintenance supervision, workload management, employee development, and hiring or promotion activities.
• Ability to manage maintenance operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgets, and performance reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, and regulatory agencies.
• Bachelor's degree in business or logistics.
