Operational Excellence Co-Op (AI)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; full-time onsite co-op assignment for six months from January through June 2027.

Compensation: $20–$30 per hour, depending on overall skills.

What you will do

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across business or manufacturing operations.
• Assist with the delivery of Six Sigma training.
• Design and test engagement strategies to improve online training effectiveness.
• Use Power BI to report incorrect response trends in Six Sigma and Operational Excellence exams.
• Update Six Sigma content with AI tools and methods, and create AI agents to support project completion and feedback.
• Coordinate project updates, completion accountability, and records maintenance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Graduation in 2027, 2028, or 2029 is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be enrolled at a university, available for 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and meet university co-op requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Minitab, or JMP.
