Program Intern, Operations Excellence (Continuous Improvement)

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, USA; full-time, in-person internship

What you will do

• Support data-driven initiatives that improve organizational efficiency and resolve complex process issues.
• Complete data tasks that enable deeper analysis of ongoing projects and new initiatives.
• Develop actionable insights for process redesign and automation efforts.
• Support projects focused on reducing cycle times and improving data quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at different levels as a proactive and autonomous thought partner.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior, senior, or graduate student; Industrial Engineering is preferred.
• Have extensive experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Be able to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the business.
• Be available for a full-time, in-person internship from June 7 through August 13, 2027, in Knoxville.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma systems.
• Previous professional experience.
• Relevant extracurricular activities.
