Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; on-site presence may vary according to client needs, with up to 25% overnight travel throughout the US.

Salary: USD 110,000–125,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage technical commercial real estate projects across planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Define project scope, resources, budgets, schedules, quality controls, and risks in collaboration with clients.
• Document IT requirements and coordinate technology solutions for network, telephony, wireless, audio-visual, security, and related infrastructure.
• Manage proposals, bid evaluations, vendor selection, project documentation, and data integrity.
• Direct architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors while tracking progress, variances, action plans, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor project team members and build consensus among clients and delivery stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with IT construction, including network setup and design, voice and data cabling, telephony, wireless, audio visual, security access and monitoring, and sound masking.
• Knowledge of leases, contracts, construction practices, and architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.

• LEED AP, PMP, or CCM designation.
