What you will do

• Develop, bring up, and validate functional PCBAs for consoles and smart accessories through EVT, production, and sustaining.
• Translate product intent into precise engineering requirements, interfaces, design margins, verification criteria, and acceptance standards.
• Lead technical execution with JDM/ODM partners across design, validation, industrialization, production, and sustaining.
• Support design changes, component transitions, yield improvement, and manufacturing and field issue resolution.
• Build failure-analysis capabilities, establish verified root causes, and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and components for future consoles and active-play products.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing electronic systems for connected consumer products, including at least one product taken through mass production and sustaining.
• Strong fundamentals in digital, analog, power, high-speed interfaces, signal and power integrity, PCB design, and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience building prototypes and functional PCBAs, bringing up boards, using laboratory equipment, and debugging cross-layer problems.
• Experience defining engineering requirements and verification criteria, and critically evaluating partner designs, tests, data, and reports.
• Clear written and spoken English and working Mandarin are required for supplier and factory collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with SoCs, cameras, sensors, audio, HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or smart accessories.
• Familiarity with Android/AOSP, embedded Linux, and hardware/software co-debugging.
• Experience with EMC, safety, reliability, regulatory certification, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Python or similar scripting experience for laboratory automation and data analysis.
