What you will do

  • Independently execute subsystem-level electrical designs with limited oversight.
  • Design, simulate, validate, and debug moderately complex analog, digital, or RF circuits.
  • Develop FPGA modules, signal-processing blocks, and embedded control loops.
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes, and drive technical issues to closure.
  • Contribute to board bring-up, system integration, design reviews, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, optical, and research teams to develop electronics for quantum computers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to U.S. Government national security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of China or Russia unless they are also U.S. citizens.
  • Experience in at least one relevant area, such as FPGA, analog, RF, or controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Schematic entry and board-layout experience, preferably with Altium PCB software.
  • FPGA design and verification experience with Xilinx software and IP, VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with lab instrumentation, automated test setups, signal integrity, noise, filtering, embedded control loops, or digital signal processing.
