What you will do

  • Plan and manage material supply through purchase orders, production orders, and planning master data.
  • Use SAP MRP and planning tools to ensure material availability and support customer delivery and production objectives.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, engineering, customer service, and suppliers to resolve material constraints.
  • Analyze demand, inventory trends, and planning KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize reorder points, safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, and order quantities while reducing excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering changes, NBS Next, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring planners as a material planning subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, operations, or a related field preferred; up to 8 additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.
  • Strong SAP MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Excel, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Kanban and inventory optimization principles.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
