Lead Claims Advocate (Executive Risk)

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-severity executive risk claims involving D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, E&O, cyber, and related insurance products.
• Review claim notices, demands, subpoenas, investigations, and lawsuits to identify coverage and preserve insurance rights.
• Develop claim strategies and negotiate coverage disputes, defense cost advancements, settlements, and allocation issues.
• Coordinate clients, insurers, brokers, defense counsel, coverage counsel, forensic firms, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze policy language, endorsements, exclusions, and program structures to identify coverage opportunities and gaps.
• Conduct claim reviews, stewardship meetings, trend analyses, client presentations, and RFP responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; insurance certification such as CPCU or AIC preferred.
• JD preferred.
• 5–10 years of specialty claims-handling experience.
• Strong coverage interpretation and litigation management skills.
• Strong knowledge of D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, E&O, and cyber insurance products.
• Excellent client-facing, relationship management, analytical, and communication skills.
