Litigation Specialist - Remote

Location: United States; remote position

Salary: USD 96,000–125,000 per year

What you will do

• Investigate complex litigated claims involving commercial and personal lines across state and federal courts.
• Analyze depositions, expert reports, attorney evaluations, medical reports, and other discovery to evaluate losses and negligence.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage assigned defense counsel, experts, examinations, and legal expenses.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims within delegated authority, or conclude them by denial.
• Coordinate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, witnesses, underwriters, and agents throughout the claims process.
• Manage claims from initial investigation through payment or denial, releases, salvage, subrogation, and file closure.

Requirements

• Ability to handle litigation files from start to finish.
• 7–10 years of general liability litigation claims experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of New York Labor Law preferred.
• Knowledge of risk transfer.
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
