People Operations (AI/Fintech)

Location: New York City; on-site

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own and improve new-hire onboarding, performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and employee lifecycle programs.
• Manage the People technology stack, currently centered on Rippling PEO, including systems, workflows, automations, integrations, and ongoing improvements.
• Maintain accurate people data and manage processes for promotions, role changes, offboarding, and other employee updates.
• Lead benefits administration and support compliance with employment requirements, policies, and documentation.
• Manage employee communications, the employee Wiki, engagement activities, manager resources, and people-program materials.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Recruiting, Leadership, and people managers on operational improvements and ad hoc People projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, and program management.
• Experience designing and executing structured processes and programs with minimal direction.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives end to end.
• Experience managing HR systems, workflows, and automations; Rippling experience is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, discretion, emotional intelligence, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment and handle ambiguity.
