Vice President, Transformation Services - Coding & CDI

Location: Virtual, Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, USA; occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead coding and CDI transformation assessments, solution development, operational redesign, and implementation initiatives across multiple healthcare organizations.
• Partner with Coding, CDI, HIM, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Quality, Provider, Technology, Analytics, and executive leaders to identify operational and financial opportunities.
• Serve as the primary transformation liaison for assigned clients and align executives and operational stakeholders around priorities, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Develop strategic recommendations, action plans, governance structures, operating models, and performance improvement roadmaps.
• Evaluate and support implementations of EMRs, CAC platforms, CDI software, automation, AI, analytics, and other digital technologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams, oversee reporting and presentations, and measure transformation impact, outcomes, and return on investment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related field.
• Current coding or HIM credential such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, CPC, or equivalent, and current CDI credential such as CCDS, CDIP, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in coding, CDI, revenue cycle, consulting, or related healthcare operations.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale healthcare transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
• Expertise in coding, CDI, revenue cycle operations, reimbursement methodologies, compliance, technology optimization, and process improvement.
• Experience with multiple EMRs, CAC platforms, CDI software solutions, automation tools, AI technologies, analytics platforms, executive consulting, and client-facing engagements.
