HRIS Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Own the design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable Workday solutions and maintain reliable payroll and time-related integrations.
• Configure on-cycle, off-cycle, retro, and on-demand payroll processes, including earnings, deductions, schedules, time rules, validations, and absence accruals.
• Lead semi-annual Workday releases through impact analysis, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex payroll, time, absence, and data issues.
• Build reports, dashboards, audits, and calculated fields while mentoring HRIS and payroll system resources and delivering training.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA; the role is remote.
• 3–5 years of Workday experience, including at least 2 years supporting Payroll.
• Strong U.S. payroll expertise in complex, multi-state environments supporting more than 5,000 employees.
• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, reporting, integrations, and release management.
• Experience supporting SOX-controlled payroll environments and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in U.S. Payroll.
