Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $45,500–$54,400 per year

What you will do

  • Coordinate new patient scheduling and appointment changes according to department guidelines.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, referrals, patient intake, and general questions.
  • Triage issues, recognize emergencies, resolve requests in real time, and escalate matters when necessary.
  • Collect clinical information and coordinate medical records, tissue receipt, appointment packets, materials, and EMR portal enrollment.
  • Arrange single-provider and multi-provider visits while supporting continuity of care and timely communication.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and the New Patient Coordinator team.

Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, customer service, telephone etiquette, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly, learn process changes, and work effectively within a team.
  • PC proficiency required.
  • Experience supporting adult patients and following clinical procedures and compliance requirements.
