What you will do

• Apply systems engineering principles across the concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement phases.
• Develop and deliver work products across ISO/IEC 15288 technical, project, enterprise, and agreement process areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives, engineering standards, processes, and project implementation approaches.
• Communicate technical status and recommendations to government stakeholders, program personnel, senior executives, and overseers.
• Lead systems engineering activities, coordinate contractor engineers and technicians, and supervise project engineering staff.
• Approve work products and make independent decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 15 years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of general systems engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a master’s degree plus 13 years of systems engineering experience, or a PhD plus 11 years of experience.
• Experience with one or more ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and the ability to prepare associated work products.
