What you will do
- Provision, configure, operate, and maintain on-premises and cloud systems infrastructure.
- Monitor backup, data restoration, and disaster recovery capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Coordinate, perform, and document disaster recovery failovers in DLA cloud environments.
- Design, integrate, and oversee storage arrays, Fibre Channel switches, file-sharing technologies, and related components.
- Perform storage analysis, capacity planning, performance planning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Document configurations, policies, procedures, project plans, test results, and recommendations for improving storage operations.
Requirements
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance required.
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- DoD-approved 8570/8140 operating system and cybersecurity certifications, with IAT-II qualification.
- Five years of professional engineering experience, including enterprise storage and backup software technologies, plus three years managing hybrid Azure and/or AWS storage infrastructure.
- Two years of hands-on enterprise SAN management and experience with backup, restore, file-sharing, NAS, storage controllers, RAID, and disaster recovery technologies, including two years working with Department of War IT systems.
