Community Outreach & Enrollment Specialist (930946)

Location: San Marcos, Texas, USA; on-site work at Gary Job Corps with a hybrid schedule including field, remote, and office-based work. Daily travel within the assigned county and approximately 20–30% domestic travel may be required.

What you will do

• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, youth programs, community centers, social service agencies, and local businesses.
• Lead outreach events, presentations, information sessions, festivals, community fairs, and tabling activities.
• Introduce young adults to the program and provide guidance on basic eligibility requirements.
• Enter, document, and follow up on leads using digital tracking systems.
• Guide prospective applicants through application preparation, deadlines, expectations, and next steps.
• Support monthly enrollment and arrival outcomes through consistent pipeline management.

Requirements

• Minimum two-year degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in community outreach, youth engagement, sales, customer service, recruiting, or a similar field.
• Comfort with online systems, digital communication, data entry, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently with strong follow-through, time management, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily within the assigned county.
• Availability for field outreach, office work, remote work, and occasional meetings, conferences, training, and other events is required.
