Learning Program Manager (Instructional Design)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; work location is flexible on Fridays. Overnight travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Annual base salary: $63,111.66–$87,639.99. Compensation type: hourly; not incentive or sales commission eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and manage online, blended, and instructor-led learning solutions for the Energy Services & Controls business.
• Create and maintain digital learning content that supports technical, functional, and professional capability development.
• Administer course creation, updates, assignments, and deployment in Workday Learning.
• Coordinate training programs and events, including rosters, enrollment, attendance, communications, materials, facilities, catering, and onsite support.
• Partner with business leaders, HR stakeholders, trainers, facilitators, vendors, and subject matter experts to align learning initiatives with business priorities.
• Track program metrics and feedback, resolve operational issues, and recommend improvements to learner engagement and training effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience in instructional design, training coordination, talent development, learning operations, or program management.
• Experience developing and managing digital learning content and coordinating instructor-led training programs.
• Strong project coordination, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, build stakeholder partnerships, and work effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality learner and stakeholder experience.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, human resources, business, organizational development, or a related field.
• Experience with technical, field-based, operational, Energy Services, Controls, HVAC, or related businesses.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, digital content platforms, multimedia learning design, and adult learning principles.
• Experience coordinating enterprise or business-unit training programs with multiple stakeholders.
