Co-op, Systems Engineering: January-June 2027 (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

Annual base salary: $25.00–$34.00. The position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

Medical device company developing the Omnipod platform for insulin delivery and other subcutaneous drug-delivery applications.

What you will do

• Support product development activities for wearable pump technology throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop product requirements, risk documentation, traceability, and design-control records.
• Participate in product design, technical reviews, triage sessions, and engineering evaluations.
• Test products, identify bugs, troubleshoot design issues, and evaluate improvement methods.
• Analyze engineering data and support FDA and international clearance or commercial release activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program in biomedical, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Technical writing, effective communication, dependability, maturity, and professionalism.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and Microsoft Office.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Minitab, MATLAB, or other data analysis tools.
• Interest in mobile technologies, IoT, or BLE communications.
• Previous co-op or internship experience.
