Procurement Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States. Hybrid work model with three days per week in the office, Monday–Wednesday.

Salary: $162K–$180K base pay annually, plus equity, performance-related bonuses for eligible employees and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate subcontracting and purchasing from intake through completion, including agreement and amendment inputs, reviews, signatures and approved purchase order requests and changes.
• Align staffing, scope, terms and engagement-value changes across agreements, purchase order funding, billing schedules, source documents and transaction records.
• Research and resolve supplier issues across contracts, purchase orders, invoices and payments, coordinating corrections and providing complete supporting evidence to Accounts Payable.
• Manage intercompany invoice and payment status, investigate stalled handoffs and coordinate procurement, ERP and finance-system issues with Accounts Payable, Accounting and Finance Systems.
• Own subcontracting workflow requirements and build, test and validate AI support for intake, term extraction, drafting, record comparison, exception research and calculations.
• Partner with Procurement Enablement and Finance Systems to improve workflows and integrations, measuring cycle time, rework, issue aging and time saved.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in procurement, procure-to-pay, finance operations or a related field, with a record of independently following work through to completion.
• Understanding of how agreements, approvals, purchase order funding, invoices and payments connect, including the ability to investigate discrepancies and coordinate supported resolutions with suppliers, Accounts Payable and Accounting.
• Practical AI fluency and experience improving workflows with automation, including the ability to demonstrate what was built, how results were validated and what improved.
• Confidence working with spreadsheets and procurement or ERP systems, investigating transaction and workflow issues, and coordinating fixes with system owners.
• Responsive service, careful listening, proactive communication, sound judgment with incomplete information and urgent requests, and consistent follow-through to resolution.
