Global Procurement Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote role associated with San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; and Seattle.

Salary: $525,000–$700,000 MXN.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end purchasing operations across software, cloud, professional services, hardware, facilities, and other spend categories using Zip, Coupa, or related tools.
• Review purchase requests, issue and track purchase orders, support RFQ/RFP processes, and coordinate supplier delivery, pricing, service levels, negotiations, and renewals.
• Design and implement procurement policies, approval matrices, procedures, internal controls, and segregation of duties aligned with IPO and audit requirements.
• Maintain purchase documentation, vendor master data, and centralized vendor and contract repositories; support internal and external audits and remediate findings.
• Manage supplier onboarding, due diligence, tax compliance validation, conflict-of-interest checks, performance reviews, and international supplier requirements.
• Analyze spend with AI, build procurement KPIs and reports, track budgets, and improve Coupa, Zip, and requester workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or a related P2P function.
• Hands-on experience with Coupa and Zip or other modern procurement and accounts payable tools.
• Familiarity with corporate procurement policies, guidelines, and internal controls.
• Understanding of the P2P cycle, segregation of duties, and approval workflows.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, negotiate, influence, and communicate clearly with business teams, suppliers, and senior leaders.
• Ownership, bias for action, strong attention to detail, commitment to compliance and integrity, self-management, and strong written communication in a remote, cross-time-zone setting.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth, technology, SaaS, or AI company.
• Exposure to SOX, IPO readiness, or audit-ready environments.
• Familiarity with international supplier onboarding and tax documentation, including W-8/W-9 and VAT, plus knowledge of EU and Mexican requirements such as CFDI and SAT compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
