Procurement Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Fully remote, based in Mexico; candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico. Core hours align with US Central or Eastern time zones, with at least 6 hours of overlap with US business hours.

Salary: $566,038–$750,000 Mexico-based salary, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Support daily source-to-pay operations across sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and payment functions.
• Maintain contract records, track renewals and expirations, coordinate documentation, and support supplier off-boarding.
• Support RFx processes, vendor evaluations, supplier onboarding, reviews, and performance tracking against SLA, quality, and cost metrics.
• Maintain procurement dashboards covering spend, savings, cycle times, and compliance; prepare reports and data summaries.
• Support S2P platform administration, workflow execution, user adoption, and process automation opportunities.
• Answer procurement questions and coordinate with Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, HR, suppliers, and US-based stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; a relevant Licenciatura is accepted.
• 2–4 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or vendor coordination experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting CLM and/or P2P processes, including direct system usage and workflow execution.
• Familiarity with supplier coordination, requisition-to-PO workflows, invoice matching, and audit compliance.
• Experience with at least one Source-to-Pay platform such as Zip, Ivalua, Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer.
• Exposure to SaaS vendor management, including subscription tracking, license coordination, or contract renewals.
• Solid Excel and data skills, including building and maintaining reports and supporting business case preparation.
• Full professional-level English, written and verbal, is required for daily collaboration with US-based teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is required, along with reliable high-speed internet.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and must overlap with US business hours for at least 6 hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zip intake orchestration, approval workflows, sourcing, CLM, P2P, or supplier management modules.
• Familiarity with category management concepts.
• Experience in technology or SaaS companies where software spend is a significant part of the procurement portfolio.
