What you will do

• Oversee daily scheduling of trucks and drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials.
• Lead a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, training, and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain DOT permitting, equipment registrations, and monitor drivers' daily logs and hours of service.
• Coordinate with mechanics and third-party vendors for preventative maintenance, repairs, and annual DOT inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sales personnel and customers regarding transportation needs.
• Track and analyze transportation KPIs to prepare regular reports for leadership.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse fields.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.
• Proficient understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in Warren, MI.

• Experience in Environmental or Industrial waste hauling.
