Area Manager - Transportation Office (Transportation)

Location: Onsite in Saint James, Missouri, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annual salary, plus potential performance bonuses and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Lead transportation operations and manage staffing, scheduling, workloads, production, quality, and safety goals.
• Coordinate drivers, fleet operations, equipment availability, maintenance scheduling, service shops, and local offices.
• Prepare and analyze business reports and productivity measures.
• Train, supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including participation in hiring and promotions.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates, and other stakeholders while resolving operational concerns.
• Maintain logistics procedures, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or one year of hirify.global Logistics experience, or one year of transportation experience.
• Background in transportation and logistics, including experience managing drivers and coordinating fleet operations.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and team development skills.
• Ability to manage transportation scheduling and driver operations to support timely deliveries.
• Commitment to quality, safety, compliance, and adapting to new technologies and operational changes.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
• Previous hirify.global experience.
