Wafer Equipment Engineering Technician III (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site at the Normandale campus in Edina and Bloomington, United States. A-shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. No travel required.

Salary: $27.37–$39.13 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum equipment used in wafer fabrication.
• Repair and maintain production and production test equipment while minimizing downtime.
• Use knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics, and technical schematics.
• Follow preventive maintenance instructions and establish related programs and procedures.
• Train personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and recommend solutions for complex assignments.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work the specified A-shift schedule on-site.
• Ability to work with chemicals while following required safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Associate of Applied Science technical degree.
• Post-secondary education or relevant military experience.
• Relevant software and hardware experience.
