Release Programmer (RPG)

Location: Hybrid/remote within approximately 70 miles of offices in Allen, Texas; Lenexa, Kansas; Springfield, Missouri; or Monett, Missouri. Additional locations include Birmingham, Alabama; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Louisville, Kentucky. Travel: 2%.

Salary: $56,800–$75,000 annually, based on location and experience.

What you will do

• Support programming code for new and existing software enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing code.
• Test code and fixes to ensure quality.
• Provide programming support for various interfaces.
• Communicate enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes to customers and internal teams.
• Support annual releases for the card-processing platform and help customers assess process and business-function improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of programming experience in an object-oriented programming language through professional or educational experience.
• Willingness to work in a programming support environment focused on existing code rather than new development.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation outside normal business hours.
• Must live within approximately 70 miles of an applicable U.S. office location.
• Immigration sponsorship and support are not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• RPG experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or data processing.
• Experience working in a financial institution.
• SQL experience.
