Senior Programmer (IBM iSeries-RPG IV)

Salary: $80,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Analyze and resolve technical system and application issues, document findings, and recommend effective solutions.
• Maintain the IBM iSeries platform and improve its effectiveness for business processes.
• Design application solutions, procedures, and automated processes for existing systems.
• Collaborate with network staff to ensure reliable software and system operations.
• Lead projects from definition through implementation while managing resources, schedules, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with iSeries.
• Strong proficiency in RPG ILE, RPG, CL, Query, DBU, SQL, and DDS.
• Strong communication, teamwork, independent motivation, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Experience with the WebSmart development tool.
