DevOps Platform Engineer (DevSecOps)

Location: Remote within the United States; primary location Arlington, Virginia, with additional locations at Eglin AFB, Florida, and Hill AFB, Utah. Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.

Salary: $62,000–$141,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements through production monitoring.
• Design and develop DevOps pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CodeDeploy, and other CI/CD tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure and configuration as code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Automate testing and troubleshooting with open-source tools, cloud resources, and Python.
• Analyze web application errors, logs, code, and business logic using diagnostic and monitoring systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering role.
• 1+ years of experience deploying containerized applications and experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methods and Infrastructure as Code or Configuration as Code.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, ML, LLM implementations, or AI/ML/LLM security.
• Production Kubernetes automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux or Argo CD and Kustomize.
• Cloud-native development, identity authentication and authorization, SSO, SAML, or OpenID experience.
• Linux or UNIX administration, AWS certifications, or a relevant technical degree.
