Value Stream and AI Transformation Lead Specialist (AI)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within company facilities.

Salary: USD $139,662–$151,119 per year

What you will do

• Lead value-stream mapping across program planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, risk management, change control, and performance reporting.
• Identify process delays, duplicate work, control weaknesses, and opportunities for simplification, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Build transformation roadmaps based on business value, compliance risk, technical feasibility, and workforce readiness.
• Define AI use cases, human oversight, approval gates, audit evidence, data lineage, access controls, and exception handling.
• Collaborate with Compliance/EVM, Program Execution, IT, cybersecurity, data owners, and system administrators on requirements and implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, support pilots and change management, and measure adoption, cycle-time reduction, quality, compliance, productivity, and realized value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus at least 8 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience improving complex, cross-functional business processes using value-stream mapping, Lean, systems thinking, business process architecture, or comparable methods.
• Working knowledge of program controls, including planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, performance measurement, or integrated program management.
• Experience translating business processes into functional, data, automation, or system requirements.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, AI assistants, workflow automation, or agent-based solutions, including opportunity, risk, limitation, and human-control assessment.
• Ability to influence across organizational boundaries, lead workshops, and communicate with technical specialists, functional SMEs, program teams, and senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ANSI/EIA-748-compliant EVMS or a DCMA-regulated environment.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of integrated master scheduling, earned value analysis, estimate-at-completion processes, change control, and performance reporting.
• Experience implementing AI or automation with traceability, cybersecurity, records retention, auditability, responsible AI, model risk, or data governance requirements.
• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, systems engineering, EVMS, or relevant AI/data certification.
