Process Engineering Co-Op

Location: Bedford, MA, United States. On-site assignment, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., from January through June 2027.

Salary: $20-$30 per hour, depending on overall skills.

What you will do

• Support process engineers with process improvements that improve quality, reduce costs, and increase output.
• Develop plans for updating standard operating procedures and support training activities.
• Mine and analyze process data in Minitab and make recommendations based on findings.
• Perform yield analysis and support day-to-day troubleshooting on the production line.
• Participate in Gemba walks to identify lean manufacturing and safety improvements.
• Perform membrane characterization testing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program and familiar with university co-op participation requirements.
• Working toward a degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
• Data-driven, hands-on approach and proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., from January through June.
