Operations Co-Op (Manufacturing)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on overall skills and role fit

What you will do

• Support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of CMP polishing pads.
• Analyze safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance metrics.
• Partner with supervisors, operators, engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
• Participate in root-cause investigations, corrective actions, continuous improvement projects, and production planning.
• Develop operational dashboards, visual management tools, and performance reports.
• Complete an operations-focused project with measurable business impact and present findings to site leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2030.
• Must remain enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from January through June.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience through coursework, student organizations, research, athletics, military service, or extracurricular activities.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Power BI, project management, or process improvement tools.
• Prior internship, co-op, leadership, manufacturing, operations, or business experience.
