Operations Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States. Onsite distribution center role with 0% travel. Internship timing: May/June 2027 to August/September 2027. Applicants must already have authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $18.51–$23.13 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze logistics and supply chain data to support distribution center decisions.
• Collaborate with logistics, materials, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams on operational projects.
• Use ERP, PLM, and WMS programs to gather and evaluate data.
• Test and document software enhancements and automation roll-outs in the distribution center.
• Develop process recommendations and present capstone project findings to leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities and basic computer proficiency.
• Goal-oriented, self-starting, and collaborative approach.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Google Suite tools and data analytics platforms.
• Exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management systems.
