Operations Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; onsite distribution center role. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Internship runs from May/June 2027 to August/September 2027. Travel requirement: 0%.

Salary: $18.51–$23.13 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with logistics, materials, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to deliver operational projects.
• Use ERP, PLM, and WMS programs to collect and analyze supply chain data for decision-making.
• Test and document software enhancements and automation rollouts in the distribution center.
• Develop data-driven process recommendations and present capstone project findings to leadership.
• Partner with distribution center directors and managers on continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse workflow transformation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence collaborating with senior colleagues and stakeholders.
• Goal-oriented, self-starting, and collaborative team-first mindset.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Already authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or experience with Google Suite tools and data analytics platforms.
• Prior exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management systems.
