Process Engineer II (Manufacturing)

Location: Decatur, Texas, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Implement statistical process control and use statistical tools to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment failures and partner with maintenance to reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures for CVD tools, vacuum furnaces, batch processes, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product developments and design fixtures that improve process stability and reduce product variation.
• Monitor product quality and performance while applying an 8D, data-driven approach to root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Create process documentation, operating procedures, response flows, and training for direct labor employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience with operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of industrial chemical processes.
• Proficiency in process equipment operation and troubleshooting, including CVD tools, vacuum furnaces, and batch processes.
• Experience with LEAN, DFM, SPC, Six Sigma, data analysis software, and GD&T; Minitab experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, present technical data, communicate effectively, and deliver results under deadlines.
• Must be able to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship; applicants must not require sponsorship now or in the future.

• Experience with ceramic materials.
• Experience with Minitab.
