QA Lab Analyst Co-Op (Chemistry)

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite laboratory work required

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on qualifications and skills.

What you will do

• Support the daily workflow of the quality assurance laboratory.
• Perform tests using existing methods and document observations and pain points.
• Research and propose improvements to laboratory methods and workflows.
• Execute feasibility studies for new ideas.
• Serve as a point of contact for selected ongoing R&D projects.
• Summarize test results and findings in reports.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university co-op program and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biology, or a related science field.
• Completed general and organic chemistry courses, preferably with chemistry laboratory experience.
• Strong chemistry foundation, laboratory skills, and interest in advanced analytical chemistry tools.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June.
• Must meet the university’s requirements for participating in a co-op program.
